Challenge 3: Goodbye Pyramid, Hello MyPlate

Learn about the USDA's MyPlate, a science-based approach to healthier eating. 


Did you know? In 2011, the USDA MyPlate replaced the Food Guide Pyramid to offer a modern, customizable, and science-based approach to healthier eating. It provides a simple visual reminder to choose a variety of foods from each food group daily and is adaptable to individual dietary needs, preferences, cultural traditions, and budgets.
